The Bear and Ragged Staff, Warwickshire's symbol, although 'do gooders' have had the chain removed. Maybe it's right to do that, I'm not sure.

Did you have rain today because we did for most of the day. It meant that our bowls day got cancelled until another date can be arranged. I'm surprised that there was any play at the Test Match, but there was.

Amongst other things we managed a short walk around the village and a quick visit to The Bridge at Halford, just up the road, for a quick drink and to check their menu out and also the ambience to see if we might like to go sometime. We might well do so.
