Comfort food for a very wet day

More like November than July, with wet windy weather since early this morning. Far from ideal for those starting their summer holidays in the SW and awful driving conditions on the major roads. For supper, chicken and bacon pie with fresh veg then rhubarb and apple crumble and custard. Very satisfying on an appalling day.
