Darvel Music Festival

A catch up blip. This music festival has been going for 21 years and given us the opportunity to see brilliant musicians such as Larry Carlton, Glenn Tilbrook, and Paul Carrack in a small, intimate venue.

The headline act this evening was Hamish Stuart with James Brown is Annie and we were really looking forward to hearing them. Unfortunately the end of the show was rather abrupt as they seemed to go over the curfew and we were left wondering if they were coming back on for an encore. They didn't.

The other band, Hamilton Loomis, was fantastic. We've seen him and his band a couple of times before and really enjoy his music but this show was the best yet. He's my headline act in this blip.
