Baggin Paets 2023

A beautiful sunny and warm day, with the odd cloud passing over.  Breezy at times. 

Up fairly early for a Saturday.  Headed into Lerwick after breakfast.  Picked up friend Julie and we headed to the peat hill for the day.  Chip supper for tea.  I've been working in the shop this evening, and a really busy night.  Defo deserve a pint tonight! 

I had two peerie (little) peat bog fairies helping me in the peat hill today, peerie Brian and Julie.  We got all the peat bagged up, delivered home and also got mam's bagged and delived to Cunningsburgh.  Perfect day for it, although some were still damp after recent heavy rains.  Brian and Julie busy bagging peats, Hill of Fitch, Tingwall.
