In the rain

There was a surprising lack of breakfast this morning, as we were offered porridge without milk and toast without any knives or even butter. We ate bananas and nuts from the car then started driving. We drove for hours and hours but eventually made it to this house that Mum wanted to see because it apparently featured in Pride and Prejudice. I have seen the scene Mum keeps talking about but honestly couldn't picture it at all, not even when we were there. She seemed to enjoy it though, and it was a nice enough house. We drove another hour or so and made it to the hotel we're staying in, thankfully getting big and quite delicious dinners.
