All hands on deck

I didn’t work today as I had a day owed to me from earlier in the term. Andrew took my car as the van was in the garage so I was stranded at home without a vehicle. This wouldn’t matter but disaster struck at school and I couldn’t get there! A catastrophic leak from burst sprinkler system meant the whole school evacuated to the field. The hall ceiling collapsed and our classroom was flooded!
Thankfully nobody was hurt but the end of term was cut short with school now closed to the children and we'll spend the next few days clearing up the debris…
