Sunday Morning Coming Down . . Kris Kristofferson
A row of trees has been cut and now there is a clear view to the western ranges. There was fresh snow and it made me pull over the car to take a picture. I crossed the road and got talking to a man walking his elderly dog. Then a lady walking herself joined us and as we talked the mist came down on the mountains. I had to settle for the sheep and large tree stump. The mountains will be there another day. The trees have come down because the Retirement complex is expanding. We three random strangers all agreed we didn't want to live there. The man could remember the slope being in Kiwifruit. The bright, yellow bush is Wattle in flower.
