Day out

I Went to one of the Shakespeare properties today , a large orchard to walk round , gardens and this beautiful house that belonged to Anne Hathaways ( his future wife ) family . The house went to the brother
and the family eventually lost its fortune and the house was sold but they remained tenants . The last family member of the Hathaway’s (Mary )remained while eventually the Shakespeare’s birthplace trust brought the house and paid Mary to tell the stories of the history . It was last occupied in 1911.
