Making Hay

The farmers have been working furiously to harvest their crops before the next storm - which is scheduled for tonight (poor Daftie).

Meanwhile, we too have been harvesting (today's extra).  A very different kind of crop.  The produce of our kitchen garden - lettuce, tomatoes, beetroot, cucumber, courgettes, aubergines....  The first melons are putting in an appearance, and the pumpkins and butternut squash are starting to form.  That's not to mention the chilli peppers and cauliflower.
