An uneventful day, although this morning we unexpectedly had no water supply. Replacement/relining works in the road had resulted in a broken connection. After several anxious phone calls, and the workers disappearing for a while, the required fitting was found, so all is well. I'll be glad when they've finished though, as all week the avenue has been closed and jammed with six large vans.
