White Letter Hairstreak

......... a brilliant new visitor to the garden - I’ve seen a few at the nature reserves but never spotted one so close to home - I’m thrilled to see and get a shot of it ;-))

I’ve been pottering about in the garden and also doing a few bit and pieces around the house but by far my biggest achievement today was realising that I wasn’t as much of a technological dinosaur as I thought.
I often have a radio on in the kitchen but the number of stations that I find tolerable to listen to has gradually decreased to just one and recently I found out that that one will soon only be available on DAB+ and I believed my radio was just DAB, so would become obsolete, I was very disappointed :-(
However, today I dug the instruction booklet out and was pleased to read that it was DAB+ after all - win one ;-))
I then read on a bit further and found that it also had Bluetooth capability too so followed the instructions and to my amazement was able to link it to my phone ........ and laptop, so I’ve been streaming music all day ........... I expect that doesn’t seem very momentous to most of you but to a serious technophobe like me it feels like a huge leap forward, so I’m feeling rather pleased with myself ;-))
