The stuff of dreams ...

We stopped here on our way to our B&B on Skye .
My Dad's uncle, Farquhar MacCrae , was responsible for the rebuilding of Eilean Donan Castle. Farquhar's photo sat on the bookcase in my parents house. There are many family stories . He was a remarkable man. Enough of the story, but here is a potted version of the history here .
