Zoo, zoo, zoo, we're going to the zoo!!

after just one day back at work I volunteered to go with my childminder and 60 others (mainly) kids to the zoo. Yes thats right I volunteered.

My childminder had organised a day trip to twycross zoo with all the other childminders in her group and all their children for half term. A few more mums attended to help out so it ended up being about 15 adults to 45 kids from 10 months to 15 years old.

It didn't get off to the best start as the coach was 45 minutes late, so we now had far too many kids that were over excited and board.
But once they were on the coach all was fine and then down came the rain, great!!

we walked through the new dinosaur park, where the kids found their favourite one, the one that sprayed water. even though it was already raining they just had to get sprayed :)
then we went on the little train, me, erin and lacy sat together, the girls looked so cute in their little pink rain coats.
then off for a walk round the actual zoo, wow some of the monkeys are loud!
Despite the rain we all still had lots of fun and it brightened up in the late afternoon and all the kiddies were so well behaved. Erin absolutely loved it and don't think Caleb could quite understand what he was looking at most of the time but he seemed to enjoy it.

also this is now one whole year of blipping, even though i've added pics from the very day caleb was born i didn't actually start it until 2 days after. but still a fantastic milestone and i've loved every minute. i may have become a little obsessed with getting my daily blip but it will be so fantastic to look back on.

so heres to another year of blipping!!
