Garden in the early morning light

Woke to a bright, cloudless blue sky and wall to wall sunshine. Had almost forgotten what shadows were and to feel the sun as I had my early morning cuppa in the garden was great. I loved the shadows on the fence and watched the young starlings being very aggressive already to other birds! From this distance you can't see the weeds wildflowers in the garden. I can assure you there are plenty. I think I'll do a list of the weeds wildflowers that grow happily in my beds. I think even I would be surprised.
Went to film club tonight and still the sky is without a single cloud. Long may it last. Going to have a last cuppa in the garden hoping to see some bats.
