The Duck Pond

I've had one of those days today where I rarely stopped smiling. The warm sunny weather provided the backdrop to a lovely day with little man. First we went to the garden centre and bought a peony, petunia, a purple plant that the name has escaped me and two trays of trailing fuchsias. Then we did the grocery shop where me and little man giggled endlessly as I skidded the shopping trolley up and down the isles. Little man then needed a nappy change in the most spectacular fashion but by this point the car boot and back seats were full of shopping so I had to change him on the front seat. This resulted in a naked squirming little man in the front of my car in the supermarket car park - more giggles.
We then headed home had lunch and spent and hour chasing bubbles round the garden. We then walked down to the duck pond so little man could have a nap.
Today's blip is Mr & Mrs Swan who had five little cygnets that were so beautiful. We met up with my friend and her little girl and our babies had a good hour playing in the park with more giggles before home for tea, bath and bed.
Poached salmon salad for tea and pudding down the pub with my mum. If carlsberg did days off...
