'you my dear...
are a badass!' that's how one of my customers described me today! i don't think i've ever been called a badass before! today started off well with my time killing trip to see my favourite jokers / pick up some work, the sun was shining and they were being hilarious! however as the day was dragging somewhat after that, i became more and more anxious about job paperwork turning up or not turning up! such a tit at times! did my boss give me a shit reference, did they change their mind, was it just manc post being crap again?! haha! god knows - it wasn't there when i got home! nooo! haha!
college was the most unproductive session ever! i do hope my next 2 years will be somewhat more productive! on the plus side angela (who was telling me how much of a crazy cat woman she is!) is going to bring me some botany books to check out next week! hurrah!
my tutor was giving out irises for some reason - it's a rare one apparently - she said i could take it to scotland to remind me of the college bunch...i thought i might give it to my mum to put in her mini water feature to go with the water lettuces! haha! not sure she is convinced with the water lettuce idea yet but is playing along!
i will miss those guys tho - they do make me laugh and have been majorly supportive to me :-) gordon was being especially lovely and kept telling me how brave i was and how much he had been wondering how i had got on and phil took me surprise when he told me how pleased his was about me getting the training position as he said he remembered when we started the course he remembered me saying that out of everyone i was the only one who wanted to be a gardener and that it sounded so heartfelt! i didn't really think i had it in me!
