Kent!

The view south from the top of Detling Hill on the North Downs, looking over the Low Weald - The Weald was once a vast forest covering this area. The name, Old English in origin, signifies woodland, which still applies today: scattered farms and villages betray the Weald's past often in their names. (Last bit lifted from Wikipedia, thank you to them)

Took the chance to have a quick walk up there in the White Horse Woods and the nearby remains of medieval Thurnham Castle and traces of an Iron Age settlement. After Madrid it's soooo green and the views are great. I love Kent!
