My personal history with important moments in sport in not one to follow . . . see end . . . had the opportunity to travel to Leeds to watch the Rugby League Cup Semi-Final game, between Hull KR and Wigan, with M, an ardent HKR man.
What a game . . . good job I put my lucky hat on with 20 minutes to go . . . at that time HKR were a beaten team. Not now . . . 10-10 at the end of the game, so a Golden Point win for the Reds . . . see extra. Surrounded by 10,000 happy folk . . . what a game.
My end story . . . Boro have only ever won one gigantic cup . . . I still remember the end . . . everyone was clapping and cheering . . . then it came . . . wonder what we do now . . . never been here before . . .
