After a morning doing some essential tasks, I needed some headspace so Mr W & I went to Stourhead this afternoon. It was a very interesting visit. The gardens were colourful, the dyeing demonstration was fascinating but I did feel it was a bit careless of them to have lost the original manor house.. still, at least they're looking for it!
