Freedom!

This picture was taken at the end of such s lovely family weekend together in the sun.

We got up early today as the kids wanted to spend some pocket money and the children's car boot sale. Unfortunately there wasn't any bikes for sale, but Gracie got 2 dresses, a brats doll and snow white and the seven 'dee-warfs' figures. Which quickly became the 7 naked 'dee-warfs' as she decided they didn't require any clothes at all. Moo spent her £5 on moshi monster paraphernalia and Evie on ball pit balls and an in-car drawing desk thingy.

To top of the day though is something we've been meaning to do for years. I bought them an old rusty BMX bike, with no breaks for them to mess around on. I was determined to teach them how to ride it, and within 5 minutes they both cracked it! There beaming smiling faces at there achievement was a picture! I was so proud of them, even if it was about 5 years late...

It was a great end to a brilliant weekend. On the drive back to Hull Evie declared how 'free' she felt at riding her bike! Bless her... I hope she becomes a pilot!
