Birthday Treats

An attempt to visit the cathedral today, but we got there just after it closed. We might try again another day. Not to worry, we had a wee wander round the Gothic area and then back up to our area and to our ‘new frankfurter’ (La Peatonal) for dinner (see Bb’s blip), where we meet up with Bb, and then back to our patio for little sweet birthday treats that we didn’t have room for yesterday. The rest of the day we all handled the heat in our own way. I stayed inside apart from sweeping the upstairs terrace (too hot a job in retrospect!) and repotting a couple of plants that Bb had bought me a while ago but I’d never got round to - a maracuja and some kind of berry plant.
