Sri Lanka

We had a nice day in Sri Lanka today. It would have been nice to go to day 2 of the Test Match with Pakistan, however the delay of our flight made that pretty impractical. In the end the boys and I played pool for a number of hours while the girls went swimming. This photo was taken after dinner when the girls decided to play pool as well. I haven't been quite as adventurous with the food here as the local stuff is pretty hot, although I have sampled some interesting new dishes including quite a decent dessert called Negombo Watalappam which was a moist cake dish, sweet, and possibly with some egg involved? Now or plane has been delayed by 2 hours. We're sitting in the airport watching a reply of a Sri Lanka vs India cricket match from about 15 years ago which is up on the TV.
