2023 Saturday — Back to SoCal

We left California’s Central Coast early, real early, to make the 4-hour journey to Southern California and get through Los Angeles before midday weekend vacation traffic. After two stops, we arrived at 10:15. The actual travel time was 3 hours 50 minutes. It was good to be off the highway.

The increase in temperature is staggering. Really! I haven’t wore flip flops or sandals once this year while at the coast. After arriving the first thing I did was take off my shoes and socks and rolled up the legs of my pants.

We are here because both have doctor appointments and we have an elegant dinner seminar to attend that’s presented by the man who does our retirement investing. Then we are headed back to the cool, quiet, relaxing Central Coast of California.
