Dragonflies

Went on a dragonfly walk at the Arboretum this morning led by a very informative chap from the Yorkshire Dragonfly Society. Luckily it was a sunny, warm morning and there were lots of dragonflies about. It was nice to be able to put names to them!

This collage shows clockwise from top right a ruddy darter, an emperor dragonfly laying eggs, a black-tailed skimmer and a blue-tailed damselfly.
