Rubislaw Terrace Gardens

On my way for morning coffee in Union Street today I passed through Rubislaw Terrace Gardens. I was surprised to see that not only is there water in the pond, but the fountain is working. I believe that is the forst time I have ever seen it working. I wonder how long it will last.

The water is genuine, though the dolphin and the mermaid may be the viewers imagination, or might have been added later.

The Union Street area seemed relatively quiet today. We had lunch at Cafe Andaluz and the restaurant also seemed quieter than usual. Perhaps many people are away on holiday.
