A Watched Pot Never Boils

Great weather until the afternoon, + 20. Light sun. Breeze, but not too strong nor cold. The rain began in the late afternoon.

We went to the allotment exeptionally before the noon, for rain was forecast in the evening. Good we believed it. We had relaxing working time, we hadn't any hurry and the place was still quite quiet many people being at work. Although it's raining here at home area, it may not rain in the allotment despite it's only about two km away. Hope it does.

I check the berries every time when we are on the spot, if they are ripe and ready to eat. At the moment almost all berries of another species of two different blackcurrants are ripe and some of raspberries and blueberries, redcurrant berries will be these days. The gooseberries are still ripening. We have yellow and these red ones in the picture. 

All the berries look so beautiful, again every year.
