As calm as a mill pond

It has been a very calm day here.  I met one of my schoolfriend today.  We used to play piano duets together and we had lots to catch up on.  We sat close to this pond for our lunch. 

This evening I had Facetime with one of my college friends and we had a good talk about life and the world.

I am lucky to have supportive people around me for when the millpond is not so calm.
