Same chicks, different roof
These are the gulls that have been nesting on our neighbours' roof - on our other neighbours' roof. Flight lessons have definitely got underway for the little ones :) I witnessed (and heard!) them this morning, too, while I was sitting in the garden before work. They like to make everyone aware when they are in flight! This photo is from this afternoon, when I nipped out to hold the ladder for Tim, while he attempted to trim the last few bits of hedge he'd missed last time. (Not easy - there was a reason he missed them last time, as they're just too far back on top of the hedge.)
Had a good, still quite quiet, work day. Feeling a little fatigued again today, and Tim's knee was hurting after our walk at the weekend, so we didn't venture out this evening. Instead, I cooked a big batch of tomato and lentil soup :)
