phew!

I've developed a really barking cough over the last couple of days and decided I would rule out COVID. Not that I would do things any differently if it had been positive except avoid people. However that was not the case was you can see..
I'll see how things are in a couple of days but I think I may end up phoning the GP if it doesn't settle down soon.
I was in Falkirk this morning to chat to somebody about possibly taking on my role in Scottish Cursillo. Fingers crossed.
The afternoon, by the time I got home, was almost over. I picked up a card for C, it's our 48th anniversary tomorrow - I know, I don't look old enough, I was clearly a child bride!
We had an extremely good cauliflower cheese for dinner with the left overs from yesterday's ham joint. One of my favourite combinations.
I've had a menthol crystal inhalation, taken done honey and applied Vicks generously. I am now going to take a nytol in the hope of getting past my cough. It seems to be only a cough at the moment but I've no idea where it came from.
Thanks for all the comments and stars for my daft cat yesterday. Today she came running into the bathroom, chirping away, to bring me her Christmas reindeer! Very kind but I'm glad she didn't actually drop it into the bath with me!
