Egg

I had to do a double take this morning when I found an egg on our drive. It was empty with a hole in it when I picked it up, maybe a fox or magpie’s work perhaps. It reminded me of mom in law finding an egg buried in her garden border, she said we’d all say she was going mad when she told us.  We all howled with laughter and thought she’d made it up, years later we’re still joking about it. 
My son is 24 today, I don’t know where the years have gone.
