Kids Say The Darndest Things

So today for work I had to film a Girl Scout troop. They were crazy to say the least.

If I ever needed a reason to not like children, I found it today. Everyone says it's different when it is your own kid, but I remember how crazy I was growing up and I really pity my parents for putting up with all my bull shit. If I were my own parent I would have duct taped my mouth shut for the first decade of my life to see if I would shut up. Not to mention the fact that I was an absolute brat.

For example:
I didn't walk until I was about 4 years old. It's not that I couldn't. No, I just refused to. My parents would walk in on me walking every once in a while and I would just plop right back down on the ground pretending that didn't just happen. (Side bar: That isn't much different than my lifestyle now. I prefer to be laying down or sitting at all times.) I was smart back then though. They would threaten to leave me behind if I didn't walk. I didn't buy it. There was no way they were going to leave a 4-year-old in a house by herself. Silly Mom and Dad.

Anyway, that was just a small glimpse into my younger years. For more, please read on.
