daydream

the sweetgum tree outside the window near the table where i have been spending about 12 hours/day studying for my boards.

there is a pair of mated cardinals that flutter about this tree and sometimes when i catch them in my periphery i take a break and watch...other times when i don't see them i take a moment to daydream and breathe. just a quick reset before i get back to studying.

it is a comfort to know the tree is there if i need a little moment...
