The Last View....

Our last look at the mountains before we started our journey home. This photo was from the natural pool at the hotel. I wished I 'd tried it out while we were there, may be next time.

Lech has been a wonderful base for us this week. A very pleasant and not too busy mountain village. The hotel was perfect. Great room, and fantastic food and service. it made going home to my own cooking quite a shock.

We had a bit of a delay at the airport as the winds for planes coming into Innsbruck meant one had to be diverted. Ours was a delay at Manchester. It's very small airport and again it was getting up into the 30s temperature wise. I was glad to get on the plane as the air conditioning was welcome.

A bit damp and dismal back in Manchester, but an uneventful drive back home. Glad to finish the journey but it's alway sad to leave such a beautiful place.
