The Remains of a Window

It was the perfect day for one of my favourite Stromness walks round the back of Brinkie’s Brae on the Waterworks Road with a look at the reservoir in the hills above the road and continuing on to the north end of the town.
I saw one car, two tractors, a field of extremely large sheep and two fields of inquisitive cattle but no people. It was the complete antidote to the tourist maelstrom no doubt invading the streets below me from whatever cruise ship or ships were in port. I had the world all to myself and without any view of the sea I might have been in the hills or moors anywhere.
My blip is of a has been window set in the beautiful stone wall of a has been  house.

The slip and dip today coincided with a high tide at 3pm and sunshine. There was swimming , but as ever it was the handstands that were the most fun. EllyJay kindly came to the slip to blip us and I could see from her photos where improvements could be made in my performance. I seem to be reliving my childhood. Should I be worried?
