12000 miles, 32 years and she doesn't look any different. The same can't be said for her accent mind.

Gill and I worked together at the start of the IT banking revolution and were two of the first people in the Information Systems Department of Mr Farage's favourite bank.  She moved to Brisbane in 1991 and I haven't seen her since, although the Book of Faces means we've stayed in touch.  We met up tonight, along with a couple of other drinking buddies fellow ex employees  and while nowhere near as much wine was consumed as it would have been in the 80s we had an amazing evening.. 

Gill is back home on Saturday with a promise not to leave it so long next time.
