Oh No......Snow.

The white stuff is a bit thin and the ski Bunnies will not be pleased. This is the back view of the Remarkables which are not too remarkable at the moment. 
In Wanaka our local mountains are almost snow free which at this time of year is not a good sign. The Boss is in Wanaka for a few days and is enjoying the gas fire in their apartment as it was 6c this afternoon with the sun shining and 5 out there now. at 6.45PM.
