Lacey borlotti

Summer rain is great until you try to grow beans organically. 

My 6th borlotti sowing has been reduced to this. We're now too late in the season to get much out of new borlotti sowings :-(

Luckily my allotment neighbour has offered me Stortino di Trento, which are apparently more prolific and should be fine with a shorter season. We'll see what I end up with but it won't be my best year...
