Hostile planet

The predicted poxitude of the weather did materialise. Having sorted all my Liverpool photos the night before (until 2am), I bit the bullet and accompanied Mrs Raheny and Mimi to the Humdrum Shopping Centre, the final destination being its Las Vegas style multiplex cinema to see Oppenheimer. 
To say that I wasn't in my element would be a bit of an understatement... 
Went to see the film to support a young local lad who jogs on the west pier with his black labrador. Didn't realise that he had actually landed the main role. Recognised him straight away, them cheekbones and blue eyes are hard to miss.
Spoiler alert: he manages to build the bomb. And it is dropped on Hiroshima. And Nagasaki. And there is much rejoicing.
