"Yes, I Know"...

...We've lost our River Murray lads, but just settle down and look at the fun we'll have in the mud...fish galore!...

...And there is..

...Repairs have to be done to the concrete base of the Weir at Lock 11 - and the whole Weir has had to be removed and all that is left at the moment - is mud as the water has had to be drained downstream to the Murray Mouth at Goolwa, in South Australia, to allow work to progress..

...It won't be forever, just whilst the repair work is being done, maybe a month or two. One has never seen a sight quite it is at the moment in certain areas, maybe never to see again - but the Wildlife are having fun and really, don't quite know what is going on...there are so many Pelicans which have congregated in the pools of water which is left and lots of other wildlife as well - the picture above shows just a tiny few.. I have some lovely shots of them frantically feeding all together - but ofcourse - I can only show you one...
