Ready for the Off!

Early rise for everyone in our household this morning. I went to the airport with busboy and Debbie, got them all set up, hugs and tears, and then straight to the dentist for me for the reconstruction of the root canal done over the last two appointments in this last week. All went fine. I can now eat and drink hot and cold, without sensitivity on that tooth. I now have a break till September. Yay!

In the afternoon I did half the training session for the new Aptis marking platform. Very clear, organised, and supportive. The item writing is something else. Well, I can’t get access to their Microsoft teams. Again. I got the allocation of item writing for August by email. Because I don’t have access to Teams, I had to email to request that the necessary docs and any useful documents were sent by email. However, no access to Teams means that I don’t see any questions that other new item writers ask on the forum and I don’t benefit from the answers. Pretty poor. Ho hum.

Busboy and Debbie have arrived home safely and are having an early night. We have that effect on people!
