Feeder madness

The sparrows well and truly settled in with the new bird feeder on the balcony today - and made a right old mess!  It's pretty clear that they have no interest in the wheat that's in the bird seed mix - as it's now all over the floor of our balcony.  They did give me a whole load of photo opportunities though :)

Quite a rainy start to the day, so no sitting in the garden for me - but Tim made it out there later on to do a bit more work on his workbench.  Nearly there now.  I had a good work day - and we got out for a nice (if rather muggy) walk to the Cairn this evening.  So peaceful there - we always have the viewpoint to ourselves.
