DARK HEART

Another day of trying to get to grips with sorting clutter. I got another load to the recycling centre and I'm hoping that the reasonably dry forecast for the next few days is accurate enough for us to be able to empty the contents of the "shed"/outhouse into the back yard and sort it into more loads. We're going to have to toughen up about it - I keep finding poignant surprises.
This dahlia is in the back yard. The photo doesn't really convey how dark and velvety it is, but it's more like the centre looks here than the outer petals. I love the really dark flowers.
