For the first time in many years I started some flowers from seed. In the past I always had problems with damping off, this year I tried having a fan running near them so the air circulation around them was better. I started sunflowers, cosmos and zinnias in the house. They are all blooming now. The nasturtiums I started later and kept them outside. They started blooming this week.
Another hot day but the humidity wasn't as bad this afternoon as it had been. Rain in the forecast for this evening, some places may get another 40 mm. People that were in the flooded areas will be keeping a close watch on water levels tonight.
