some favs from Mueller State Park

Today I went up into the mountains to Mueller State Park with my bestie to get out of town and escape the heat. It was just what we needed! We spent two hours hiking, talking, and taking photos in the beautiful quiet of a trail that went through woods, down into meadows, and up again. The wildflowers were blooming in abundance, and there were butterflies everywhere. We topped it all off with a delicious late lunch on the way home. That's what I call a day of refreshment!
