Erica haematocodon
This little blood-red erica is a very localised species as it only grows on the Constantiaberg mountains, in the Cape Peninsula and even this is limited to a narrow band between 150-800m above sea level. I am blessed to live in this band and have this striking little shrub in my garden. The little bell shaped flowers are tiny (about 3mm). <3
