Giant vase of roses

Slept in a bit today so had to rush to get Maisie to groomer. We decided to treat ourselves out to breakfast at one of Wellington's busiest cafes where there is almost always a wait for a table, even on the coldest of weekdays.  I was taken with the size of the floral displays (this was only one of several). Clearly business is good for some. Nice food, great coffee, and the dog looks pretty (extra).
