Drove over to Dad’s to collect him to drive into Derbyshire. Had a nice drive through the Dales to get to the Chatsworth cafe and farm shop. We managed to avoid the rain but it was very grey. This view from the cafe is beautiful on a sunny day! We both had a very tasty lunch and a browse in the very well- stocked farm shop. Drove back a different way for different scenery. Dad was on good form and making plans for more wood- turning, which was very good to see.
Sorted out his alarm when we got back ( he had decided to change from one around his wrist to a pendant) . When i got home I packed up the wrist alarm and then walked up to the PO to post it back to the alarm company. Was intending to do some weeding when I got back but it was very humid and I suddenly felt very tired so didn’t bother!
Went to food bank meeting in the evening- it went very well
