A good day

The contractor turned up shortly after midday to install our fibre connection, but didn’t quite make it. He’ll be back in the morning and we’ll have Broadband and WiFi again, much to our delight.

Another load of washing went out onto the line to dry in the sun, boxes of books were unpacked and put away, we managed to register with a medical practice, we collected our new microwave and ordered a new fridge. It’s a long story, but our old one has to go in the laundry because it won’t fit in the space in the kitchen and it’s complicated getting it into the laundry because the doors have to come off first. MrMacD has been studying a YouTube video explaining how to do it. Progress has been made sorting out the lounge and our two study areas. All the boxes have been unpacked and a pickup requested. By this time next week the house will be looking like a home.

Apologies - I’m way behind dipping into Blippers’ journals at the moment, but I will catch up soon when the pressure is off a little.
