Starry Night
We spent the morning at the Metropolitan Museum of Art viewing the Van Gogh Cypress exhibit. It was really quite wonderful with a number of paintings we have never seen because they come from private collections.
The biggest hit, of course, was this painting which only came uptown a bit as it normally resides in the Museum of Modern Art. The exhibition is there until August 27, and in case you can't make it, there is THIS.
Many people were using the phones to take photos and some felt the need to prove that they had been there with selfies.
