Bridged

I had an appointment with a photographer, a fairly specialised guy, he takes photographs of eyes, particularly the back of eyes. I see him or one of his mates each year to check that my type 1 diabetes hasn't caused damage to the blood vessels in the retina. I'll wait for the report but I think it'll all be fine.  I wonder if he blips his best eye of the day?

Blinking a lot with those drops in my eyes that dilate the pupils, I walked to Town Quay where this attractive bridge crosses to join up with footpath and cycle routes and the Hackney Marshes nature reserve. It's 10 years old now and still looking good.
